Thank you for the
Viking bit (a large bit at that). Our family folklore
has always held that there were Vikings in the far off
times. Being
unable to trace my LAIRDs and GARRISONs any further
than William
GARRISON b. in Hart Co. KY in 1830, I have not been
able to even touch
the Viking story. Wonderful information even if I
never find another
name.

I subscribe to the
Sinclair pages, and find it very informative.
However, it would appear that I am not a real
Sinclair, as my g
grandfather came from Argyll. My G Grandmother was
named Laird and was
born in a small town South of Glascow, called
Kilmaclom. I am in the
USA and any suggestions about how to start would be
appreciated. I am
really interested in the Laird connection. |

meeting me last week. Great to catch up with you.
This site is very good. I have enjoyed browsing around
and will no
doubt be back. |
